At the end of last year I made a little video to capture the highlights and remind myself of the awesomeness that is taking a picture 365 days a year. Until today, that little movie had an audience of 8 – my family and the grandparents. I never shared it because it just felt too personal and I’m shy like that online.
When Becky Higgins announced her 12 Videos of Christmas contest last month I decided to submit the video mainly as a way of thanking her for her ongoing inspiration and shared commitment to documenting the every day. Imagine my surprise to receive an email telling me my video had been selected! Well, today my video went live on Becky’s site so I decided I’d better take a deep breath and share it over here too. So here it is, a little glimpse into our 2011…
Be sure to head over to Becky’s amazing blog to check out the other videos from this month and years past, I’m humbled to be in such good company. If you are short on time, two of my personal favorites are Video #1 (a touching time lapse video which chronicles a family’s growth during the holidays for 10 years) and Video #3 (if you are a mom, it is a fun must-see). Grab a glass of egg nog and enjoy yourself for 10 minutes!

Suzanne, thank you SOOOOO MUCH for the inspiration!!! I was thinking to make something like that – to use somehow most of the pictures of the Project 365 which I took within the year but had not time to scrapbook them and make the full Project Life. So, this video was a great-great inspiration for me… And this is what I created http://youtu.be/_Pp_J9LFPHc
Hope, you do not mind

I love it! Thank you so much for sharing! For some reason the “work” pictures especially spoke to me. I mean who takes pictures at their office, unless they are doing something like Project 365? I think you will love having these to look back on. What a great way to wrap up your year – thanks again for letting me take a peek into your world!
