January has come and gone. How many of you have a resolution to get something done with your 2012 photos in this new year? Yet is the thought of figuring out what to do with a years worth of photos overwhelming you? My suggestion is to simplify.
I created this little book in 3 simple steps:
1. Choose a theme: I decided to focus on “Scenes from Around the House”. By only including pictures taken at our home last year I was able to easily narrow down my photo choices.
2. Select your photos: Quickly flip through your images and, without overanalyzing, select a handful that fit your theme and tug at your heart.
3. Design book: Since you have only selected your absolute favorites, try letting them stand alone – one photo per page.
Yes, there is perhaps no more important part of our story than what can be found in the details. I will eventually get around to creating that special family yearbook that tells the full story of our year. But for now, I’m so happy to have this limited selection of the details of 2012 out of my computer and in our home.
