There is nothing better than the beautiful light of summer. Whether it is the soft pink tones of sunset and little girls playing…
or the bright sunny light of days well spent… or the lush green found in the beautiful places we visited this summer… or the peaceful blue tones of water and summer skies… or the night lights that linger… It is the light that inspires me and summer magic happens when the light, my subject and the environment all come together in a special way. Please join me in exploring how light is viewed by the other women of our “What … Looks Like” series, starting with the beautiful and thoughtful work of Pamela Joye, Northshore Boston.p.s. all but one of these images were captured on my phone camera, can you figure out which one is the exception?!

Oh Oh so pretty. That second row esp. Such light fluffy lemonaid-y colors. LOve it. Such great colors and images. I find myself using my phone a lot more these days too. Fess up, which is the non phone image??? 😉 I am guessing its the hose shot in the top right?
Suzanne says
Staci – nope, not the hose shot. hint – it is in the bottom row 🙂

you inspire me on so many levels. i don’t enjoy photographing on my phone at all. yet these – they are grand and show it’s the eye not the tool (though in my case it might help if i learned more about how to use that particular tool!) i am blown away with how you captured light and color and moment. so well done suzanne in every single way – every single one.
