Every photographer dreams of getting a call from a past client that starts something like this..

“I was looking at the photos you took for us last year and am so grateful to have documented these simple moments around our home.  I’ve realized that taking professional photos is not about creating something consumable for other people, but rather, capturing a moment in our family’s life that will all too quickly pass us by.  I was thinking about what would represent our family story in 2014 and without hesitation I knew it was the growth of golf as a family activity.  Would you be willing to join us for a round of golf to help us tell our story of the year?”

Obviously I said yes! and we spent a lovely afternoon together on the course.  This location-based lifestyle session was a logical extension of their in-home family life.  Time spent together, connecting as a family, away from the homework and busy work schedules that fill up our daily lives, their 2014 story.
