I loved this quote from a recent New York Times interview with Michael J. Fox, and it felt particularly applicable to this year we are having. May you light all the candles and express gratitude this week for things small and large in an effort to sustain hope in ourselves, our families, our world and our future.
It’s hard to believe what a different world we are living in now vs. last August. Such a good reminder to celebrate life every step along the way.
It had been awhile since we had organized a proper birthday party for my oldest (summer birthdays are hard!) but we were determined to make #16 a special one. She was fresh off earning her driver’s license and ready to celebrate with friends…
